Once Upon A Time Auction
Online ticket purchasing and sponsorship packages will be available soon!
We invite you to join us in support of The Calverton School’s Once Upon a Time Auction and Gala on Saturday, April 29, 2017. As we reflect on our 50th Anniversary Celebration beginning later this year, we cannot help but become nostalgic as we reflect “once upon a time.” We remember a time when judges, farmers, parents and neighbors came together with a dream of a little school, “between the river and the bay.” Almost 50 years later, the little school has become an enchanted place where every child has the opportunity to shine! We hope you join us in Southern Maryland’s Historic Solomons Island! Listen to live music, feast on delectable food, enjoy the beverage offerings, bid at our silent and live auctions, and dance the night away in the Chesapeake Ballroom.
Fostering a culture of respect, high expectations, and shared experiences, The Calverton School instills in students’ intellectual curiosity, personal responsibility, and a strong work ethic to prepare them for higher education and responsible citizenship in a democratic and global community. Our annual auction raises crucial funds for educational programs, facilities enhancement, and other new projects. Please help us reach this year’s goal of $150,000! Get involved by:
- Becoming a VIP
- Becoming an auction sponsor
- Donating an item or service to the silent or live auction (Wish List enclosed)
- Advertising in the auction catalog
- Volunteering prior to and/or the night of the event
To participate, please complete the appropriate forms and return by April 20, 2017. Your prompt response will ensure that all items/donations/advertisements are included in the auction catalog. The Calverton School is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. (ID # 52-0853724)
Your help as a donor, sponsor, advertiser, and/or volunteer is essential to our success. The Holiday Inn Solomons is the place to be April 29th! For questions, please contact Beth Lennon at 410-535-0216 x 1111, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
