MISSION STATEMENT
The Mission of the College Counseling Program is to ensure that each Calverton graduate attains an advanced education at a baccalaureate granting institution that will prepare him or her for the responsibilities of adult life, for informed participation in democracy, and for life-long enjoyment of the life of the mind. Our goal is to help every Calverton graduate find a college home in which he or she will flourish while enrolled, will be proud of on graduation day, and will cherish for the rest of his or her life.
To these ends, the College Counseling Program seeks to help each student determine what kind of higher education will best suit his or her needs and aspirations, to help each student identify and research the specific institutions that will best provide for these, and, finally, to help each student gain admission to his or her school of choice.
It is our hope that all Calverton graduates will successfully complete their higher education in a timely manner and will, in the future, look back on this season of their lives with satisfaction, pride, and joy.
