THIRD GRADE
AT CALVERTON
Third grade is an important year
at all schools,
but
at
The Calverton School
it is a year of growth and independence
for the students.

 The
children are taught responsibility for their studies as well
as for themselves in a caring,
trusting environment. The values taught at this level stress
respect, responsibility, and cooperation.
The
academic program reinforces what was taught in previous years
and encompasses many new programs. Thinking and writing
skills are strengthened and more
independence is expected.
