ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT OF GIVING
This position is responsible for the planning, organizing and directing of all The Calverton School’s fundraising including major gifts, annual fund planned giving, special events, and capital campaigns.The Associate Director works closely with the Associate Director of Development for Alumni Relations and Events, Board Development Committee Chair, and Head of School in all development and fund raising endeavors. Qualifications include:

  • Ability to think creatively, critically, and strategically about all aspects of philanthropy at The Calverton School.
  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree, 3-5 years previous experience in fundraising, not-for-profit, volunteer management.
  • Effective and persuasive oral and written communication skills, with the judgment and discretion to handle confidential or sensitive matters.
  • Highly organized, team-oriented and collaborative.
  • A mission-driven individual who is passionate about fundraising and interested in the total life of The Calverton School.

PART TIME JANITOR
Help needed for general cleaning duties including sanitizing bathrooms, emptying trash, cleaning floors and dusting throughout school buildings. Work performed from 4p.m. to 8 p.m., Mon. – Fri., and occasionally on weekends. Experience necessary. Must be able to pass criminal background check. Salary based on experience. SUMMER INSTRUCTORS NEEDED FOR 2017
We are looking for outstanding summer instructors for guaranteed summer camps running from June 19 through August 11, 2017. Your curriculum for morning sessions will be fun, educational camps with a goal of “a little bit of education- a lot of fun!” for children ages 6-12. The afternoon sessions are just plain fun, with traveling off- site three days a week to various local places (water park, pools, ball game, horse back riding, etc.) on our buses. Two days a week can be creative games/crafts outside or in our gym. Each week must be a different theme as many campers attend all summer. You can select one week or several weeks, mornings or afternoons. Come and be a part of creating great experiences for children!
