Calverton's college-preparatory education, that includes signature programs and well-rounded offerings in athletics and the arts, sets our students apart. We are honored to offer the Calverton experience to a student who may not otherwise be able to attend. To make a difference in the life of a few students who would may not otherwise be able to attend, we are relaunching the Alumni Scholarship Fund to support our Upper School scholarship competitions.

The Alumni Scholarship Fund will give alumni the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful and transformative experience for new students. Applicants are required to demonstrate some level of need in order to qualify for funds donated to the Alumni Scholarship Fund.

The scholarship competition will require a FAST application, scholarshipapplication with evidence of a GPA of 3.0 or higher, standardized testing, and an interview component. Recipients can combine funds with other merit scholarship funds and financial assistance.

To participate:
  • Register for the Scholarship Day Exam on January 11, 2023.
  • Complete a scholarship application.
  • Write an essay – supplemental essay approx. 500 words – other than academics, how do you plan to contribute to the Calverton community?
  • Submit a letter of recommendation and a most recent report card.

The letter of recommendation should demonstrate exemplary character - written by a teacher, coach, mentor, or other community member not related to the student. An application for need-based financial aid is required – click here to apply.
