Biography
BIOGRAPHY Mrs. Whiteford currently serves as the STEM Initiatives Coordinator at St. Louis School in Clarksville, Maryland, and as Chief Financial Officer for Whiteford Systems, a local audiovisual and IT company supporting both installation and events in the Baltimore, Washington metropolitan area. She brings more than 25 years of experience in private K–8 education, with a focus on technology and STEM-related subjects. Mrs. Whiteford led St. Louis School through its original STEM certification in 2019 and is currently leading the school’s STEM recertification process. She has also served twice on the school’s Blue Ribbon certification committee. Before beginning her second career in education, Mrs. Whiteford spent over a decade working in operations management and finance in private industry. Mrs. Whiteford holds a B.A. in Political Science from Notre Dame University and an M.A. in School Administration from Loyola University Maryland. She is the proud grandmother of two Calverton students, Camden ’34 and Casey ’37.
