Step One
Inquire

Complete an online inquiry.

A member of our Admissions Team will follow up with you within 24-48 hours of receiving an online inquiry. Watch for an email invitation to activate your MyCalverton account!

Step Two
Experience Calverton

Attend an Open House - join us for our Fall Open House on Saturday, October 4 from 10 am - 12 pm - Register HERE!

Step Three
Apply Online

After submitting an inquiry, you will receive an email invitation titled “Finish setting up your account.” Click the “Accept Invitation” button in that email to activate your MyCalverton account.

Log in to your MyCalverton account, complete the online application, and submit the $95 application fee.

Need-based financial assistance and merit scholarships are available for qualifying applicants. Families interested in aid should complete a Financial Aid application once the portal opens on December 1, 2025, for the 2026–2027 school year.

Step Four
Testing

Applicants for preschool through grade 8 will participate in admissions testing and observation during their shadow day visit.

Applicants for grades 9 - 12 are required to take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) or the Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT).

To register, visit www.iseetest.org (Calverton's code is 210650) or www.ssat.org. HSPT, PSAT/SAT, ACT, or other standardized testing can be submitted for consideration.

Step Five
Important Documents

Requested during the online admissions process through MyCalverton:  

  1. Transcripts to include: academic records, report cards, academic achievements, and awards, attendance records, behavioral records, and standardized aptitude/achievement testing 
  2. Math and English Recommendations (Grades 1 – 11) 
  3. Writing Sample (Grades 6 – 11) 
  4. Homeroom Teacher Recommendation (Grades 1 – 5) 
  5. Early Childhood Assessment (Preschool and Kindergarten) 
  6. Copy of Birth Certificate  
  7. Copy of Immunization Records  

NOTE: Recommendation forms are sent electronically to current teachers/daycare providers. Email addresses are needed.

Step Six
Decision

Completed files will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee for a decision. Final admission decisions are released to families.
