The Calverton School Athletic Department is seeking candidates for part-time coaching positions working with the Girls’ Lacrosse teams for the spring of the 2018-2019 season.


Coaching and playing experience at the high school and/or collegiate level
Ability to work with and motivate students of all skill levels
Punctuality at practices and games
Consistent attendance at practices and games
Student centric with emphasis on fundamentals and building high level for learning

RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):

Supporting school policies, including but not limited to: sportsmanship, integrity, accountability, dedication, and effort
Maintaining the school's mission and philosophy throughout the season, and developing and teaching programmatic systems consistent with the entire basketball program
Working in association with Athletic Trainer in event of injury
Planning and managing practices with written practice plans and game strategies
Traveling to/from away games with team
Serving as mentor to current students and alumni, staff and community
Attending parent-coaches pre-season meetings
Maintaining and exemplifying appropriate conduct towards officials, opposing coaches, and players

The positions will run from November 1th to February 24th. Stipend is commensurate with experience and competitive within high school athletics.

The Calverton School is seeking an athletic trainer for the 2018-2019 academic year. While the majority of duties will pertain to athletic training, as needed, other duties might include medical runs for campus residents during the school day and leading classes as a substitute on occasion while living in the One World Residential Village and participating On Call for evening coverage.

- Effectively communicate with parents, students, coaches and athletic director
