Boys' Varsity Head Lacrosse Coach

The Calverton School Athletic Department is seeking candidates for part-time coaching positions working with the Boys' lacrosse program for the 2020 athletic spring season.

Coaching and playing experience at the high school and collegiate level
Ability to work with and motivate students of all skill levels
Punctuality at practices and games
Consistent attendance at practices and games
Student centric with emphasis on fundamentals and building high level for learning
Recruitment of students as per the Calverton School mission and code of
Ability to lead, mentor and encourage students within program to guide “Education
through Athletics”

RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):
Supporting school policies, including but not limited to: sportsmanship, integrity, accountability, dedication, and effort
Maintaining the school's mission and philosophy throughout the season, and developing and teaching programmatic systems consistent with the entire lacrosse program
Working in association with Athletic Trainer in event of injury
Planning and managing practices with written practice plans and game strategies
Traveling to/from away games with team including an overnight Spring Break trip where applicable
Serving as mentor to current students and alumni, staff and community
Attending parent-coaches pre-season and post-season meetings
Maintaining and exemplifying appropriate conduct towards officials, opposing coaches, and players

The official position will run from January 15-May 15 in 2020. Stipend is commensurate with experience and competitive within high school athletics.

Permanent and Substitute Bus Driver Needed
We are in need of both a permanent and a substitute bus driver for morning and afternoon bus runs. Summer hours and field trips also available. Well disciplined students and limited stops. Applicant must have CDL with P and S endorsements; clean driving record and must be able to pass a criminal background check.
