In an atmosphere of respect, Calverton students feel comfortable taking risks. Athletes pursue the arts and artists participate in athletics; students who excel in the humanities take higher-level science courses, and scientists are encouraged to write about their experiences and share them in public forums. At Calverton, students are never classified—by teachers or by their peers—as any "type." We believe that excellence has no boundaries and that all students have equal potential to achieve at a heightened level.
