Summer Work

A Message from the Middle School Head regarding summer work:

Summer is a wonderful time to relax, recharge, swim, take a vacation and…yes, to read and practice all of the skills you learned during the school year. Research shows that if you practice skills, you will better remember and will deepen your understanding. So, we want you to enjoy your summer, but we also want you to practice a little reading, a little grammar, and a little math.

Please complete the attached grade level assignments for English and Math. Pace yourself - do a little each day - and remember it is not wise to wait until August to begin your summer work.

Feel free to contact Mrs. Dempsey at for any English related questions and Mrs. Huesman at for any math related questions you may have.

Have a great summer!
The Middle School Team

NOTE: Please do summer work for the grade level your student is entering for the 2022-2023 school year.
