Cougar Cubs Early Childhood Education Program

**Registration for all camps opens February 17, 2026.

Cougar Cubs Summer Adventures offer age-appropriate, enrichment filled camps for children ages 3.5-5.  Join our excellent instructors for weeks of learning, fun, and games! Select either as a morning camp (8:30 AM - 12:00 PM) or an all day camp (8:30 AM - 4:00 PM).
 
Camp is designed as a two week camp, but it can be taken separately for added flexibility. Lots of fun activities are planned to make those hot summer days enjoyable! If attending camp all day, your brown-bag lunch is eaten between 12 - 12:30 PM and is supervised by instructors.  Sign-up for the weeks/themes you want! Limited seating is available per week/theme.  Due to our camp license with the State of Maryland, all campers must be 6 months past their 3rd birthday or more, and also be potty trained.

Outdoor Adventures

Step with us into the enchanted forest but beware of the fairies and goblins dashing past! We will enjoy sitting around a “fire” and telling camping stories while learning how to build a fort. We will also explore our bueatiful trees and great outdoors.  We will learn about the timber in the forest and create crafts using the leaves and bark.

Space Odyssey

Did you know the anniversary of the moon landing takes place in July?! What better time to get lost in space! From aliens invading our camp, to stargazing the galaxy: this camp is sure to meet everyone’s interests. We will spend time exploring outer space by making planet window decorations, alien spaceships, and even trying astronaut ice cream!

Calling All Hero's

 The summer camp is in danger from the dastardly and devious Storm-Man! He means to make summer miserable for everyone, sending rain to wash away your summer camp. This calls for a superhero (or 20) to the rescue! We will learn to use our teamwork skills and work together to save the summer camp. Campers will design their own hero capes and masks to complete their superhero looks. We will even have a superhero training day to help the heroes get ready to defeat Storm-Man.

Week 7- August 2, 2026 to August 7, 2026

Science mayhem 

Students will explore different types of scientists around the world. We will become geologists and discuss different types of rocks and crystals. We will transform into paleontologists and explore fossils and dino bones. We will become zoologists and learn about different animals and their habitats. We will become engineers and build bridges out of marshmallows and catapults from spoons. To top it off we will become oceanographers and include lots of water play while discussing animals that we find in the oceans!
