Arts & Craft Camp

Welcome to our Arts and Crafts Camp, where imagination knows no bounds! Geared towards ages 6-12, our camp is an artistic haven, focusing on painting, drawing, and other captivating crafts.

Dive into a palette of colors during daily painting sessions, explore the intricacies of drawing, and unleash your creativity through diverse craft projects. Our talented instructor will nurture each child's unique artistic style, making each creation a testament to their imaginative journey. Join us for a week of pure artistic delight, where kids can express themselves through vibrant paintings, intricate drawings, and a variety of captivating crafts!

Time Travelers

Fasten your seat belt and get ready for a trip through the ages! Campers will travel around the world and explore the Middle Ages, Ancient Greece, the Roaring Twenties, Ancient Egypt, and Colonial America!  Each day, campers will be off to a new time period while engaging in themed activities such as making homemade catapults, having a toga party, and creating their own silent film. Come join us as we have a blast through time!

Party in the USA

Get ready to express your patriotic pride and celebrate the rich tapestry of American culture during our "Party in the USA" theme week! Join us in celebrating the values and history that make America truly special. It's a week filled with unity, creativity, and a whole lot of red, white, and blue! Campers will spend the week exploring different regions of the USA and engaging in activities specific to those regions. Be ready to waddle like penguins in Alaska and attend a red-carpet event in California in this exciting camp.

Olympic Camp

Let’s celebrate the summer 2024 Olympics in Paris!  Come and challenge yourselves with taking on summer Olympic sports like soccer, gymnastics, archery, running and more!  We will also enjoy learning and exploring all things French: baking, speaking, and experiencing this beautiful area of the world without leaving The Calverton School.

Not sure what style dance is for you?  How about trying many of them in this one week camp!  There will be a day for exploring ballet, a day for Broadway, a day for tap, a day for jazz as well as a day to touch on hula, lyrical and improv! Come find your new favorite style of dance!

Nature Explorers

Nature Explores will enjoy daily arts and crafts sessions using natural materials. Create nature journals, leaf collages, and eco-friendly crafts. Express creativity inspired by the scenic surroundings. Learn about local flora and fauna. Capture the beauty of nature through sketching and painting sessions. Outdoor Games and Team Challenges: Engage in nature-themed games for physical activity and fun. Team challenges that promote cooperation and friendly competition. Develop teamwork and leadership skills through outdoor activities. Sun Protection Awareness: Hats and sunscreen are a must! Campers are encouraged to enjoy the outdoors responsibly.

Dino Camp

Grab your friend’s hand and jump into the Jurassic and Mesozoic Eras. Campers learn about many dinosaurs and their different habitats. Campers will be able to touch, feel and find different rocks, minerals and fossils using interactive projects with friends. Campers will learn what it means to be a paleontologist by participating in some fossil digging themselves. Through our read aloud, crafts, and the STEAM process, students will get to immerse themselves in a different time and make dinosaur eggs, and volcanoes in small groups.
