COVID-19 UPDATE:

Welcome to Summer Adventures Program for 2021! We are aware that Covid-19 may still pose some risks during the summer months and are proceeding with caution. We will follow safety measures given by the CDC by requiring masks when in close proximity, social distancing, adding additional outdoor activities, and performing extra cleaning.  We will require temperature checks upon arrival, and ask those who are feeling unwell to stay home. We have also reduced camp sizes to help ensure distancing for campers and instructors.
If camps are closed down by the government, payments will again be refunded.  Please contact Haleigh Vance at hvance@calvertonschool.org or 410-535-0216 Ext 1117 for questions  or more information.

Production of: Shrek the Musical JR.

It's a "big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance.  This summer, campers will become a cast of heroes and misfits like Pinochio, Three Pigs, Gingy, Peter Pan, a gospel singing dragon, and many many more! When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task — rescue the feisty princess Fiona, and his swamp will be his again.  There's a part for everyone in this dazzling adventure story!

We are focusing on the actors and being outdoors for this production.  We will cover acting, vocal work, improv, and how to work together to produce a show in two weeks. Each camper will be able to take home a souvenir Shrek Jr T-shirt.

Campers must be available for the performance the day of July 30.
